Can you believe this gorgeous girl was my very first newborn four years ago! I was managing portrait studios at the time and had been nominated for Photographer of the Year and had to put together my entry portfolio. I had shot newborn-ish age babies but wanted to do a “real” newborn session. My good friend Anndalyn was pregnant and due at the perfect time so we went for it! I brought in my own props, blocked off a couple hours from the books and fell in love with little tiny Ellison! Unfortunately I didn’t end up winning Photographer of the Year but I did find my passion! Four years later so much has changed and I am so grateful for everyone that helped me get to where I am today! I am truly blessed! ♥
Alexander Garner | 6 Months
I’m not sure I have met a happier kid! Seriously Alex is smiles from the second he arrives and loves getting his picture taken! I swear I could keep him posing for hours! We will see how that changes once he’s mobile!!!
Torin | 12 Months
Umm… I’m pretty sure this:
was just yesterday!
-
It never ceases to amaze me how quickly these little angels grow and change over the 1st year. And I feel so blessed when a family selects me to take that journey with them. Sweet little Torin is always a ray of sunshine when he comes to the studio and being so close in age with my little Griffin it was always fun to chat with his parents and see the similarities! I have had so much fun photographing him over this last year and can’t wait to see how he continues to grow and change in the future! It’s truly amazing!
Here are my favorites from Torin’s 12 month session:
Tatum | 4 Days New
Teeny Tiny! Sweet little Tatum came to visit me at only 4 days old! She was sooo tiny and precious I couldn’t get enough of her!
Jagger | 5 Days New
So you know a boy named Jagger is destined for greatness! Seriously what a cool name! Love, love, love it! And with this boys good looks, watch out! I do have to tease his mommy a little bit for brushing his gorgeous black hair several times during his session, it totally made me smile! Anyway onto the pictures… because there is A LOT! Jagger arrived asleep and continued to sleep for the full three hours giving us tons of set ups and shots. Amazing!
Brandon – Senior
So it’s not very often I step outside the “box” aka studio. But my good friend Holly’s son is graduating this year and that meant senior pictures! We had a great time at one my favorite outdoor locations; Scorpion Gulch, in Phoenix. I get so nervous before an outdoor shoot, like serious anxiety but lucky for me Brandon is so handsome he made my job easy!
Congratulations Brandon, on not only graduating but receiving full academic and athletic scholarships next year! You’re a freaken rock star!
Andrew Lee – One Year
My very first milestone baby! What an awesome experience to photograph this little man every three months from newborn to a year old!
Oh the difference a year makes!
